Four new languages available in Twind
Language shouldn't be a barrier to working safely and compliantly. From 15 September 2026, Twind is available in Indonesian, Simplified Chinese, Bulgarian and Romanian. At no extra cost.
Users working in these languages can use Twind from start to finish in their own language — no falling back to English, no partial translations.
What's available in the new languages
Full web interface — every screen is translated. Nothing is left in English.
Notification emails — training invitations, work permit signature requests and all other communications reach the user in their language.
Generated documents — access cards, work permit reports and training certificates are generated in the user's language, with correct rendering of Cyrillic characters (Bulgarian), Romanian diacritics (ș, ț, ă, â, î) and Chinese characters.
Login and sign-up screens — login, sign-up, password reset and email verification are fully translated. Legal links (privacy policy, cookies policy and terms of use) also display their correct label in each language.
Local date formats — day/month/year for Indonesian, year/month/day for Chinese.
How to activate it
Users just need to select their language in the language selector. The preference is saved across sessions.
Start by going to your personal settings by clicking on your name in the side menu.
Open the personal settings section to change your user preferences.
Select the language from the dropdown to set it as your preferred language in the application. You can also start typing the language name to filter and quickly find it — for example, Chinese (Simplified) in the list.
What's not included in this release
The mobile app — the new languages will be available in the app the week of 21 September.
Traditional Chinese — this release includes Simplified Chinese (zh-CN) only.
The admin interface — remains available in English and Spanish only.
