Coming soon: Accident rate indicators and inspections in Twind

Two workplace safety updates coming soon to Twind: monthly accident-rate reporting with NTP 1211 indices, and inspections and incidents.

Accident-rate reporting and inspections, coming soon to Twind

Workplace safety goes beyond document control. Soon, Twind will add two new features: monthly accident-rate reporting with automatic index calculation, and a log for inspections and incidents. All built into the platform, no Excel or manual processes needed.

Accident rate

Your contractors need to report their accident-rate data every month — hours worked, employees, leave, accidents. Today, Twind has no mechanism to collect that data. The result: manual reporting, missed deadlines, and data that doesn't reach the client on time.

In some cases, the deadline isn't just an internal preference. It's a contractual obligation to third parties — some clients need the data before the 8th of the month to meet their own commitments to their end client.

What you'll be able to do

  • A new type of evidence in the requirements engine — the accident-rate form works like any other requirement: with criticality, site-level scope, and monthly expiry. No extra modules needed.

  • The contractor fills in the form every month — hours worked, number of employees (pre-filled from assignment records), leave days, accidents with and without leave.

  • NTP 1211 indices calculated automatically — Twind calculates frequency, severity, incidence, and average duration. Annual indices are calculated on cumulative totals, not as an average of the monthly ones.

  • Configurable deadline — each client sets the day of the month by which contractors can submit or edit the form. Deadlines range from the 3rd to the 28th, depending on the client.

  • Validations on submission — blocking rules (e.g. 0 hours worked with active access records) and warnings for unusual but possible data. Approval is automatic if the form passes validation.

  • A reporting view for the client — a list filterable by contractor, year, month, and site. It shows who has submitted and who hasn't, and lets you export both the raw data and the calculated indices.

  • The contractor manages their own records — they can review and correct them up to the deadline. No deleting: errors are corrected, not removed. Every edit is logged.

Inspections and incidents

Logging safety inspections and incidents at client sites is also coming soon to Twind. This feature will let you document and track inspections and events directly on the platform, removing the need for external systems or paper.

More details on the exact scope will be available soon.
