What is a training requirement?
When your client requests a Training-type requirement, it means they've created a course within Twind that your workers must complete. It may include downloadable material (PDFs, images, video links) and, optionally, an exam.
These requirements are distinguished from others by an identifying label visible both in your view and in the client's view.
Once the worker completes the training — with or without an exam — Twind automatically generates a PDF certificate and attaches it as evidence for the requirement. The status changes to "Approved" without you having to upload any document.
How to send access to your workers
Go to "Requirements" in the left-hand menu.
Find the worker's training requirement and click "Manage".
Click the "Generate access to the training module" button.
A modal will open with two sending options:
Single-use access (no email): you'll see a URL, the employee ID, and a password. You can copy this information and share it with the worker through any channel you prefer — Teams, WhatsApp, or even printed on paper. This is the ideal option if the worker doesn't have an email address.
Access by email: enter the worker's email in the "Recipient email address" field and click "Send". The worker will receive an email with the link and their access credentials.
From this same screen, you can also resend the invitation, change the recipient email, or force a resend at any time.
ℹ️ Please note: If the worker doesn't have a registered email in Twind, the system will ask you to provide one before sending. But you can always use the single-use access option to skip this step.
What the worker sees and does
Once the worker receives their credentials, this is the process they follow:
They access the training link they received.
They enter their ID and password.
They download and review the course material (PDF, document, or video link).
If the course includes an exam, they complete it and submit their answers.
If they pass, they can download their training certificate directly from the same screen.
ℹ️ Please note: Workers have up to 3 attempts per day to pass the exam. If they use all of them, the exam unlocks automatically the next day. All attempts are recorded in the requirement's history.
What happens after completing the training
You don't need to do anything. When the worker completes the course (and passes the exam, if applicable), Twind takes care of everything:
It automatically generates a PDF certificate with your company's details, the client's details, the worker's details, and the course information.
It attaches the certificate as evidence for the requirement.
It automatically changes the requirement status to "Approved".
You don't need to upload any document or intervene manually.
Frequently asked questions
The worker says they haven't received the email
Check that the registered email is correct. You can resend it from the requirement management screen or change the recipient email. If the worker doesn't have an email, use the single-use access option and share the credentials through another channel.
The worker has failed the exam
They have up to 3 attempts per day. If they use all 3, they can try again the next day. You don't need to do anything: the unlock is automatic.
Where can I see if the worker has already completed the training?
In the "Requirements" view, the requirement status will automatically change to "Approved" as soon as the worker passes the training. You can check the full history from "Manage" on that same requirement.
