Start here if you are a contractor
If you are a contractor company and are accessing Twind for the first time, this video and guide explain everything you need to get started: from accepting the invitation to checking whether your resources can access the client's facilities.
What you will find in this guide
If your main client has invited you to Twind, this guide takes you from the first email to having your documentation in order. Each step links to the corresponding detailed article, with screenshots and a full explanation.
Accept the invitation and create your account.
Assign your workers, vehicles, and machinery to the contract.
Upload the documentation your client requires.
Check the access status before travelling to the client's facilities.
Step 1. Accept the invitation and create your account
You will receive an email from Twind sent by your main client. Open it and click the invitation link to go to the registration screen, where you will enter your details and create a password to access Twind.
ℹ️ Please note: If you cannot find the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk mail folder. If it does not appear, contact your main client to confirm that the invitation was sent to the correct email address or ask them to resend it.
If you later need to recover or change your password, you can find out how here: Reset your Twind password
Step 2. Assign your workers, vehicles, and machinery to the contract
Once inside Twind, you will see the contract your main client has assigned to you. The next step is to link to that contract the resources that will be working for them: workers, vehicles, and machinery. This way Twind will know which resources to apply the CAE and health and safety documentation requirements to.
ℹ️ Please note: To upload documentation correctly, resources must be associated with the corresponding contract.
Step 3. Upload the documentation your client requires
With the resources already assigned, your main client will indicate what documentation they need for each one (for example, training certificates, medical check-ups, vehicle MOT, etc.). You can upload it directly to Twind and track its review status: pending, approved, or rejected.
Step 4. Check the access status before travelling to site
Before your workers go to the client's facilities, check in Twind whether each resource has access allowed. If any are blocked, you will see the reason and can resolve it before arriving at the entrance.
Having a problem?
I have not received the invitation email: check your spam folder. If it does not appear, contact your main client to confirm the invitation was sent to the correct email address or ask them to resend it.
I have lost the invitation link: ask your client to resend the invitation from their Twind account.
I do not know who my main client is: it is usually the company that has hired you and is requesting your CAE/health and safety documentation. If you are unsure, write to us via support.
I cannot access my account or I have forgotten my password: see Reset your Twind password
