Before you start
As a contractor company, your workers, vehicles, and machinery need to have their documentation in order to access your client's facilities. In Twind, you can check the access status of each resource at any time — and if something is blocking it, see exactly which requirement is causing the issue.
ℹ️ Keep in mind: for a resource to have access granted, it must be registered in Twind, assigned to the client's contract, and have all its critical documentation approved and valid.
How to interpret a resource's status
A resource can have one of these statuses in Twind, and this determines whether it can access the client's facilities:
Go to the "Access" tab of the resource. You'll see the current status of its access to the facilities.
The possible statuses are:
🟢 Access allowed: all critical documentation for the resource is approved and valid. It can access without issues.
🔴 Access blocked: critical documentation is missing or a requirement is not met. Twind shows you the specific reason.
ℹ️ Recommendation: do this review before your workers travel to the client. That way you can spot any pending requirement in advance, resolve it before arriving, and avoid delays or stops at the gate.
Reasons why access may be blocked
When a resource does not have access allowed, Twind tells you which requirement is causing it. The most common reasons are:
Pending upload: you haven't uploaded the document to the platform yet. See How to upload documents and check their review status.
Pending approval: you've uploaded the document, but validators haven't reviewed it yet.
Rejected: the document was reviewed and doesn't meet the acceptance criteria. You need to correct it and re-upload it.
Expired: the document was approved but has passed its validity date. You must renew it before your worker travels again.
ℹ️ Keep in mind: not all requirements are critical for access. Some are informational and won't prevent entry even if they are pending. You can check
