Access the access control information
The Access module in Twind lets you check the access status of all resources linked to your clients and work sites. From there, you can download each resource's individual access card to share or print it whenever you need.
⚠️ Important: only the contractor company's authorised user can download the card. The worker does not have direct access to download it themselves; you need to send it to them once you have downloaded it.
Steps to download an access card
In the Twind side menu, click "Access".
Use the filters at the top (Client, Resource type, Resource, Site, Status) to find the resource whose card you want to download.
In the "Actions" column on the right of the resource's row, click "Select".
In the dropdown that appears, click "Download access card".
The file will download automatically to your device.
ℹ️ Please note: from the same dropdown you can also select "Download QR code" if you need the resource's QR code instead of the full card.
If the file doesn't download
If you click "Download access card" and nothing happens, check the following:
Make sure your browser isn't blocking pop-ups or downloads for help.twind.io. This is the most common reason the download doesn't start.
Try Google Chrome if you are using a different browser.
Can't see the "Select" or "Download access card" option?
If you search for a resource and don't see these options in the "Actions" column, it may be because:
The resource doesn't have authorised access yet. Check whether it has pending or rejected documentation that is blocking access.
The resource is not assigned to the contract of the principal client.
