Why a resource may have access denied
A resource appears as "Not allowed" in Twind when it has critical documentation requirements that are not fulfilled: documents pending upload, rejected, expired, or awaiting approval. Until those requirements are resolved, the worker, vehicle, or machinery will not be able to access the client's facilities.
In this article we explain how to locate the issue and resolve it directly from the platform.
ℹ️ Please note: not all requirements block access. Only those marked as critical by your client will prevent entry. You can check How do I know if a requirement is critical for access?
How to identify and resolve the block
In the left-hand menu, go to "Access" and locate the resource marked as "Not allowed".
Click on the three dots next to the resource and select "View detail".
In the detail view, identify the requirements that are blocking access. They will be marked as critical and may be in one of these states:
Pending upload: you have not yet uploaded the document.
Rejected: the document was reviewed and does not meet the criteria. You must correct it and re-upload it.
Expired: the document is no longer valid. You must renew it.
Pending approval: you have uploaded the document but the validators have not yet reviewed it.
Attach the necessary documents from that same view and enter the corresponding validity dates.
Once all critical requirements are approved and valid, the resource's status will automatically change to "Allowed" and it will be able to access the client's facilities.
⚠️ Important: if a requirement is in "Pending approval" status, there is nothing more you can do on your side — the client's validation team must review it. If you need urgent access in the meantime, your client can generate a temporary authorisation.
Check your resources' status before travelling to the site
To avoid surprises at the gate, we recommend checking your resources' access status in advance. That way you can spot pending requirements and resolve them before your team travels.
