ach requirement in Twind has a setting that indicates whether it is mandatory for your workers to access your client's facilities. In this article, we explain where to find this information and what it means.
What is a critical requirement?
A requirement marked as "Critical for access: Yes" is a mandatory document. This means that if it is not approved, your workers will not be able to access your client's facilities.
If the requirement shows "Critical for access: No", it is a document your client requests but that does not block access while it remains unapproved.
Where can I see if a requirement is critical?
This information is found on the "Manage requirement" screen.
Go to "Requirements" in the left-hand menu and open the requirement you want to check.
In the left panel of the "Manage requirement" screen, find the "Evidence" section.
Within that section, you will see the "Critical for access" field, which can have the value "Yes" or "No".
What is the grace period?
Next to the "Critical for access" field, you will also see the "Grace period" field. This indicates the number of days you have to regularise the requirement once it has expired or been rejected, before access is blocked.
For example, if the grace period is 7 days, you will have one week from the expiry or rejection to upload the correct document without your workers' access being affected.
ℹ️ Please note: both the criticality setting and the grace period are defined by your client. They may vary between clients and between requirements, so always check this information before managing your documentation.
⚠️ Important: if a critical requirement is not approved and the grace period has expired, your workers' access to your client's facilities will be blocked until the document is approved.
