Coming soon: email verification when logging in (MFA)

Twind clients will be able to require an email verification code when logging in, for their own users, their suppliers or both.

Coming soon: two-step verification to access Twind

Soon, your users will log in to Twind with an extra layer of IT security: after their email and password, a code sent to their inbox before they get in. You decide who you ask for it: your internal users, your contractors or both.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), like SSO, is an add-on. If you want to activate it, contact your Customer Success to request it.

Choose who to ask for the code

You can require it for three groups of users:

  • Your own users: those who access Twind with your company's email and password.

  • Your suppliers: your contractors' users who log in directly to Twind.

  • Both.

Your suppliers pay nothing to meet your security requirement.

No interruptions for anyone already logged in

Verification doesn't affect active sessions. Each user sees it the next time they log in. From then on, a new code on every login — with no option to remember the device.

They'll receive an email explaining the change. In that email, suppliers will see which client requested it, so they understand why their access is changing.

SSO users aren't affected

If you access Twind through your company's SSO, your identity provider already handles verification. Twind doesn't ask you for an additional code.

If your company uses SSO, you can still require MFA for your suppliers who log in directly to Twind.

A code that follows the person, not the client

For suppliers: verification follows each user, not each client relationship. If a supplier works with several clients and you activate MFA, that user will use the code in all their Twind sessions — not only when they log in to work with you.
