When to use each option?
Before acting, identify what you actually need:
Unlink from contract: the worker is still in your company but no longer works at a specific site.
Delete employee: the worker has left the company and won't return. This action is permanent and irreversible.
Option 1: Unlink a worker from a contract
If the worker is still in your company but no longer needs to be assigned to a specific contract:
Go to "Contracts" in the left side menu.
Open the contract you want to unlink them from.
In the assigned resources section, find the worker.
Click the option to unassign them from the contract.
The worker will no longer be linked to that contract and no documentation will be requested from them for it. They will still exist in "Resources" and can be assigned to other contracts in the future.
ℹ️ Please note: if the contract has already expired, it won't appear in the list by default. Enable the "Show expired contracts" checkbox at the top of the "Contracts" list to see it.
Option 2: Permanently delete an employee
If the worker has left the company and will not return:
Go to "Resources" in the left side menu.
Find the worker in the list.
Click "Select" in the "Actions" column for that worker.
Select "Delete employee".
⚠️ Important: this action is permanent and cannot be undone. The employee and all their documentation will be permanently deleted from the system. Make sure you have the right worker before continuing.
