1. The worker has not been registered under "Resources"
To link a worker to a contract, they must first exist in Twind. Go to "Resources" in the left-hand side menu and check that the worker appears in the list. If they are not there, you will need to register them before you can assign them to any contract.
2. The worker has been deactivated
If the worker was deactivated in Twind (they no longer appear as active under "Resources"), you will not be able to link them to any contract. Check their status and, if appropriate, reactivate them.
3. The contract is expired or inactive
If the contract's validity dates have lapsed, you will not be able to assign new resources. Check the contract dates in the "Contracts" list. If the contract has expired but the service relationship continues, contact your client to update the dates or create a new contract.
4. You do not have permission to manage the contract
Your user profile may not have permission to assign resources to contracts. In Twind, permissions depend on the role assigned to you by your company administrator. Contact your account administrator to verify that you have the necessary permissions.
5. The worker is already assigned to that contract
If the worker is already linked to the contract, they will not appear in the available resources selector. Check the list of resources already assigned within the contract to confirm whether they are already included.
6. The activity or risks are missing from the contract
Some contracts require the activity and risks to be configured before workers can be assigned. If the contract has no activity assigned, Twind may not allow resources to be linked. Check that the contract has a defined activity.
7. Restriction due to licences or contracted plan
Depending on the plan contracted in Twind, there may be a limit on the number of resources (workers, vehicles, equipment) you can register or assign. If you have reached the limit, you will not be able to link more workers. Check your current plan at the bottom of the left-hand side menu and contact your administrator if you need to increase your capacity.
ℹ️ If none of these situations applies to your case, contact our support team with the worker's name, the contract name, and a screenshot of the error or behaviour you are seeing. This will help us assist you more quickly.
