Why can't my worker access the client's premises?
Worker access is controlled by Twind based on their documentation status. If access appears as blocked, this guide explains how to identify the reason and resolve it.
How access control works in Twind
Twind evaluates each worker's status in real time. If any requirement is missing, access is automatically blocked. The client can see exactly what is blocking it from their panel. As a contractor company, you can check your workers' status from your own account.
Check the worker's access status
Log in to app.twind.io with your user account.
Go to the side menu and enter "Contracts".
Open the client's contract and locate the worker in the "Sites and activities" section.
Check their access status:
Status | Meaning |
Allowed | Documentation is in order. |
Partially allowed | There are pending requirements, but access may be conditionally enabled depending on the client's configuration. |
Not allowed | There are one or more blocking requirements you need to resolve. |
5. Click on the worker to see the detail of the requirement blocking access.
What to do depending on the reason for the block
The worker is not assigned to the contract
Assign them by following the steps in How do I link workers to the client's contract?
The worker has no risks assigned
Without assigned risks, Twind does not generate the documentation requirements and access is not activated. See How do I assign risks to workers in Twind?
A document is pending, rejected, or expired
Upload or renew the corresponding document. Access will be unblocked once the client approves it. See How do I upload documents and check their review status in Twind?
A critical document is under review
⚠️ Important: if the document has already been uploaded but is pending validation, access will remain blocked until the client approves it. Twind cannot intervene in the client's validation timelines. In that case, contact your client directly to speed up the review.
