What is a subcontractor company in Twind
In Business Activity Coordination (CAE) management, a subcontractor company is one linked to a main contract through a subcontract. Twind lets you view and manage them directly from the Contracts section.
If you need to delete a subcontractor company, this action can only be performed by the client (the owner company managing the coordination). Contractor companies do not have access to this option.
Before deleting: what needs to be resolved first
For the deletion to complete successfully, the subcontractor must have no pending items:
No worker, vehicle, or machinery can still be associated with that subcontractor within the contract.
If that subcontractor has its own subcontractors in turn (lower level in the chain), those must be deleted first.
If you try to delete it without resolving this, the platform will not complete the action.
How to delete a subcontractor company (clients only)
1. Go to "Contracts" in the left side menu.
2. Enable the "Show subcontracts" filter by checking the box just below the main filters.
The list will now also show subcontract-level contracts, alongside the main contracts.
3. Find the subcontractor company you want to delete. Click "Select" to the right of the corresponding row.
4. In the dropdown menu that appears, select "Delete contract".
ℹ️ Please note: if you don't see the "Delete contract" option in the dropdown, you are likely accessing Twind as a contractor company. This action is only available to clients who manage the contracts.
⚠️ Important: deleting a subcontractor company is a permanent action. Make sure you want to delete that contract before confirming.
