Delete a risk in use without blocking errors. Twind handles the impact automatically.
Clean up your risk catalog without manual work
You have a risk registered on your platform and need to delete it because you no longer use it in your current operations. You try to delete it. Until now, Twind showed you an error: "Cannot delete risk — it is currently in use." No other options. To delete it, you had to go contract by contract, unassign the risk from every affected worker, and try again. With a high volume of contracts, that could take hours. So the risk list filled up with obsolete risks that no one deleted because no one had the time.
Now the system shows you what the consequences of deleting it would be, asks you to confirm, and deletes it. That simple.
Here's what changes:
No more blocks: when you try to delete a risk in use, a confirmation pop-up appears with the details of the impact.
Automatic cascading deletion: if you confirm, Twind unassigns the risk from all active and expired contracts, deletes the requirement rules that depended on it, and recalculates access control for the affected resources.
Full traceability: every unassignment is logged in the contract's and the requirement's changelog, with the user, the action, and the date.
An updated risk list shouldn't require hours of manual work.
How does it work?
Go to Settings > Risks on the risk you want to remove.
If the risk is in use, you'll see a dialog with the details of the impact: affected contracts, requirements, and resources.
Confirm the deletion. The system unassigns the risk from all active and expired contracts, deletes the associated requirement rules, and recalculates access for the affected resources.
Check the full trail in the changelog of the contract and the requirement for each affected resource.
