New API to manage companies and contracts from your systems

Launch date: June 22, 2026

Written by: Twind Team

Create, update, and look up subcontracted companies, contracts, and subcontracts in Twind directly from your ERP or external system.

Automate the management of your contract portfolio from your own systems

Your ERP registers a new contractor. Someone has to log into Twind, create the contractor, set up the contract, add the facilities, assign activities. If there's a subcontract, the process repeats. When the data changes in the ERP, someone has to go back into Twind and update it by hand. Every time that step is delayed or forgotten, the data in both systems falls out of sync. The more contracts and contractors you have, the more time this takes.

With the new Companies and Contracts API , your systems handle all of that directly.

Here's what you can do:

  • Create and update subcontracted companies programmatically: create, edit, and look up records without any manual action on the platform.

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle: create contracts, add facilities and activities, update data, and delete contracts from your own system.

  • Manage subcontracts: create subcontracts directly, or manage the request, approval, and rejection flow from external systems.

  • Query your entire portfolio: access all contracts where your company is a client or a contractor, with full detail.

When a contractor exists in your ERP, it should exist in Twind without anyone having to duplicate the work of creating it in the system.

ℹ️ Please note: the Companies and Contracts API is an add-on product that must be activated per company from the Admin Panel . Once active, users with the "Public API Manager" role can access the configuration from Settings > APIs

How does it work?

  1. Request activation through your account manager. A Global Administrator will activate it from the Admin Panel , in the Feature Products section.

  2. Assign the "Public API Manager" role to the users who will manage the integration. They'll access Settings > APIs to create and manage API Keys.

  3. Generate an API Key from Settings > APIs . The key is shown only once — save it right away.

  4. Integrate with the available endpoints at api-doc.twind.io: companies, contracts, subcontracts, and facilities.
