Two options for managing your documentation
When you work as a contractor company in a CAE process, the documentation you must provide can be managed in two different ways:
The client company is the one who reviews, requests, and validates your documentation directly.
The platform handles this management on behalf of the client company, acting as an intermediary in the document process.
ℹ️ Please note: not all client companies have contracted the document management service with the platform. In that case, it is the client company itself that handles this process.
What does each option involve?
If your documentation is managed by the client company
Questions about requirements, validation criteria, or rejection reasons must be resolved directly with your client's coordination team.
Deadlines and acceptance criteria are defined and applied by the client itself.
The contact for any document-related issue is your contract manager at that company.
If your documentation is managed by the platform
Review and validation is carried out by Twind's technical team on behalf of your client.
Rejection notes and acceptance criteria appear directly on the "Manage requirement" screen within Twind.
For questions about the reason for a rejection or the criteria for a document, you can check it in the requirement itself or contact Twind support.
How do I know who manages my documentation?
The quickest way is to contact the client company directly. They will tell you whether the management is handled internally or delegated to the platform.
You can also check it from Twind: if, when you open a rejected requirement, you see notes signed by the Twind team, the management is handled by the platform. If the notes are signed directly by an employee of your client, the management is internal.
Where do I see the comments left on a requirement?
If you are notified (by email or otherwise) that a comment has been left on a piece of evidence or document you uploaded, and you have many open requirements, follow these steps to locate it:
Go to "Requirements" in the left side menu.
If you can't find it at a glance, use the "Status" filter to narrow the list (for example, "Pending review") and locate the corresponding requirement.
Open that requirement and click on "Manage requirement".
Inside, open the "History" tab to see the comments and notes left by the reviewer.
ℹ️ Please note: this path describes the general case of comments on a requirement, beyond rejection notes. If the exact name of the tab differs from "History", it will need to be adjusted here.
