What does it mean for a contract to have Special Works?
When the client company activates this requirement in a contract, they are defining which risks each of your workers must have covered in order to enter that workplace.
These requirements are set by the client company. You cannot modify them, but you have full visibility into what is being requested and the status of each worker.
How to check if your workers meet the requirements
Special Works risks are assessed alongside those from the rest of the contract's activities, as a single block. You have two ways to view the status:
Go to the "Contracts" section.
The risk indicator is visible directly in your contracts list.
If there is any non-compliance, go to "Assign resources".
A panel will appear showing you the mandatory risks that are missing.
What happens if a worker doesn't have the risks covered
The worker cannot access the workplace. The block is automatic and does not require any manual intervention from the client company.
For access to be unblocked, the worker must have all the risks required by the contract covered. Once they are in order, access is enabled automatically.
⚠️ Important: Check the status of your workers before they arrive at the workplace. An uncovered risk blocks access at the control point, without exception.
How to fix it?
Make sure at least one resource has the mandatory risk assigned before continuing.
Go to "Assign resources".
Find the resource in the list and click the dropdown in the "Risk" column.
Under "Mandatory Risks", select the risk that applies to the resource.
Click "Save". The panel closes automatically and the changes are saved. You can check the result on the "Accesses" page.
How to check a worker's access details
From the "Access" section you can see the status of each worker and understand exactly what is preventing them from entering.
Click on "Access" in the main menu.
Select "Access status".
Find the worker and click "See details".
You will see a summary with the worker's name, contractor, location, and associated risks. If there is any issue, it will appear in two blocks:
"Missing mandatory risks": the risks the worker needs to have covered. From here you can go to "Manage assigned resources" to resolve it.
"Requirements blocking access": documents or requirements pending upload. From here you can go to "Manage requirements" to address them.
If there are no issues, you will see the message "No problems found".
