Step 1. Check if the company already exists in Twind
Before sending an invitation, confirm whether the company is already registered on the platform.
If you see the message "The tax ID already exists" while filling in the details, the company is already in Twind. There is no need to send an invitation — skip directly to Step 3.
Step 2. Send the registration invitation
Go to the Companies module.
Click Invite company.
Fill in the contractor's details:
First name
Tax ID
Last name and contact name
Company name
Country
Email address
Language
Tick the box "I have permission to invite this company to join our network".
Confirm the details and click "Send Invitation".
From that moment on, the company will appear in the Companies list.
Step 3. Assign a contract to the company
Go to the Contracts column.
Click Add contract.
Under Contractor, select the company that is already registered.
Complete the rest of the contract details and save.
Step 4. Review the registration status
In the Actions column you can quickly identify the status of each company:
View company — the company is already registered and active on the platform.
Resend invitation — the company has been invited but has not yet completed registration.
What to do if Twind tells you the tax ID already exists?
⚠️ Important: If the system warns you that the tax ID already exists, that company already has an account in Twind. Do not create a new company. Check which of these three situations applies:
1. The company is already in your network
Go to the Companies list and search by tax ID. Sometimes the registered trade name does not match exactly what you are searching for, but the tax ID does. If it appears in your list, it is already part of your network and you can assign it a contract directly.
2. The company is registered in Twind, but not yet in your network
This can happen if the company already works with another main client on the platform. To add it to your network, contact our support team with the following information:
The name of your main company
The tax ID of the contractor
The name under which you have it registered
We will link it to your network manually.
3. The tax ID contains a typo
Check that the tax ID you entered matches exactly the company's real one, with no spaces or extra characters.
