Fewer steps to keep your requirements catalog up to date
You have an inactive requirement from three months ago. The name, the request rules, the document type — something needs to change. To do that, you had to reactivate it first. And reactivating an inactive requirement isn't a harmless move: it can trigger notifications, recalculations, and effects you didn't intend to cause. So you kept putting it off. And afterwards, it was still a problem.
Now you can edit it without reactivating it. And check its history without any prior step.
Here's what changes:
Edit the configuration at any time: the edit tab for inactive requirements is available without reactivating. You make changes, save, and the requirement stays inactive, with no side effects.
Changelog accessible from the list: a shortcut in the actions column takes you to the requirement's history, whether active or inactive.
Reactivation under your control: if you want to reactivate it after editing, you can do so in the same step when saving. The system enables it and recalculates with the new configuration.
Your requirements catalog shouldn't stay locked just because something is inactive.
How does it work?
Go to Requirements > Configuration and locate the inactive requirement you want to review or modify.
Click "Changelog" from the actions column to see the full history. Available for both active and inactive requirements.
Open the "Edit" tab and modify the fields you need. Changes are saved without automatically reactivating the requirement.
If you want to reactivate it, turn on the reactivation option when saving. The system enables it and recalculates with the new configuration.
