New: plan your visits in access control (web and app)

Schedule the visit from Twind, send them their QR credential by email and check their arrival at the entrance. Also available in the Twind app.

A planned visit, access controlled from the gate

Twind is launching visit planning: schedule the visit from the platform, send the visitor their QR credential by email and check their arrival directly from the access point, using a tablet or phone with the Twind app. Available as an add-on that can be activated per company.

Schedule the visit from the web

Go to the new Planned visits tab within Access. The two-step wizard collects the visitor's details (document number, first name, last name, email, company) and the entry details. Once saved, the visitor automatically receives their QR credential by email.

The visitor's identity is stable: the QR code isn't reissued for each visit. Instead, it's validated at the time of access against the dates and the mode configured for the site.

Arrival logging at the access point

The guard can log the visitor in three ways: by scanning the QR code, by searching by document number, or directly from the list of expected visits on the access point's home screen.

Visitors who are on site appear in the presence view alongside the rest of the resources. Entry and exit are logged in a single action, with the Log exit and entry option when needed.

Two modes per site

  • Open: the planned details are pre-filled in the entry log. Unplanned visitors can also enter.

  • Planned visits only: only visitors with a previously registered visit can enter. Unplanned visitors are denied at the access point (ideal for entrances with no security guard or staff at the gate of your facilities).
