Learn how to register your resources from the "Resources" section in the side menu. In this article we explain how to add employees, vehicles, and equipment step by step so you can manage the documentation of your contractor company.
Before you start
From the "Resources" section in Twind you can register the workers, vehicles, and equipment of your company. Once registered, you can assign them to your clients' contracts and manage their documentation within Contractor Activity Coordination (CAE).
There are two ways to access resource registration:
From the side menu: click "Resources".
From the home dashboard: in the "Your resources" widget, click "New employee", "New vehicle", or "New equipment" depending on what you need to create.
Register an employee
In the side menu, click "Resources".
Make sure you are on the "Employees" tab.
Click the "+ Add employee" button in the top right corner.
Fill in the "Details" section with the worker's information:
In the "Employee classification" section, you will see a list of all your clients. For each client where this employee will work, select the worker type from the dropdown in the "Type" column.
Click the "Add" button in the bottom right corner to save the employee.
ℹ️ Please note: you do not need to classify the employee for all clients. Only select the type for the clients where this worker will provide their services.
Register a vehicle
In the side menu, click "Resources".
Select the "Vehicles" tab.
Click the "+ Add vehicle" button in the top right corner.
Fill in the "Details" section with the vehicle's information:
In the "Vehicle classification" section, you will see a list of all your clients. For each client where this vehicle will operate, select the type from the dropdown in the "Type" column.
Click the "Add" button in the bottom right corner to save the vehicle.
ℹ️ Please note: as with employees, you only need to classify the vehicle for the clients where it will provide its services.
Register equipment
In the side menu, click "Resources".
Select the "Equipment" tab.
Click the "+ Add equipment" button in the top right corner.
Fill in the "Details" section with the equipment's information:
"Name" (required)
"Equipment type" (required) — select the equipment type from the dropdown
"Serial number" (required)
"Manufacturer"
"Model"
"Photo" — if you wish, click "Upload image" to add a photo of the equipment
In the "Equipment classification" section, you will see a list of all your clients. For each client where this equipment will be used, select the type from the dropdown in the "Type" column.
Click the "Add" button in the bottom right corner to save the equipment.
ℹ️ Please note: as with employees and vehicles, you only need to classify the equipment for the clients where it will provide its services.
⚠️ Important: registering a resource does not mean it is automatically assigned to a contract. Once created, you must assign it to the relevant contract so that the necessary documentation can be requested.
